DescriptionCircular bowl with an everted rim on a high foot ring, decorated in underglaze cobalt blue and overglaze polychrome enamels. The rim is decorated with a cell-diaper band. A “Fitzhugh” style border of butterflies, fish roe fill, and flowers runs along the top of the interior. The center well features a design of basket, vase, and cornucopia filled with flowers, all in polychrome, famille rose enamels. The central design is framed by an underglaze blue border of flowers and bamboo. Alternating panels of polychrome flower sprigs and underglaze blue flower sprigs, separated by underglaze blue borders, line the sides of the interior. The exterior is undecorated.
