DescriptionCircular bowl with an everted rim on a high foot ring, decorated in underglaze cobalt blue and overglaze polychrome enamels and gilt. The center of the well features a figural scene with a woman standing next to a deer in a fenced garden in front of an open pavilion; two servants stand on her left, offering her jars on trays. Around the upper sides of the well are four rectangular reserves framed by black scrolls and containing sprigs of flowers in polychrome enamels. Between each of these large reserves are four smaller reserves framed by black scrollwork and containing landscapes scenes in iron red. The ground above and below this band of reserves is filled with gilded scrollwork. A black line encircles the top of the sides. The rim and exterior are undecorated.Pattern name: Palace ware
