The center of the well features a figural scene of several figures around a table in a courtyard between two open pavilions, framed by a band of blue flowers and foliage. Around the sides of the well are four reserves framed by blue scrolls containing a bird or pair of birds in a landscape, all in iron red and black. The ground on the sides of the well is filled with underglaze blue flowers and foliage and traces of gilt scrollwork. A cell-diaper band with four flowerheads and four reserves containing flowers and vines on a fishroe-diaper ground decorates the rim. Below it, at the top of the sides of the well is a cell-diaper band in iron red and black.
