DescriptionLarge fragment of wallpaper, taken from the Washington Bedchamber at Mount Vernon. The obverse of the fragment is printed in grisaille with elements of a rococo revival pattern. The reverse has traces of a neoclassical pattern with a bellflower and stripe border printed in shades of orange and beige.
