DescriptionWallpaper border fragment, taken from the Washington Bedchamber at Mount Vernon. The wallpaper is printed on the obverse in grissaile with a trophy motif and vertical stripes on the sides. Elements of the design have been drawn-in in pencil. On the reverse, there are traces of a transferred neoclassical design in shades of orange. This aligns with the printing on the obverse of RP3239.001.
