DescriptionWallpaper border fragment, taken from the Washington Bedchamber at Mount Vernon. The wallpaper is printed on the obverse in shades of orange, peach, beige, and black, and displays elements of a neoclassical swag motif. The paper is seamed along one short side. Several small pieces displaying traces of a rococo revival design were adhered to the obverse. These were removed during conservation and are stored with it.
