DescriptionThis is a watercolor image of George Washington on horseback. Washington is mounted on a rearing horse holding the reins in his left hand and gesturing with a telescope in his right hand. He is dressed in ornated military attire and his saddle is emblazoned with a 'W'. Encircling this equestrian portrait is a calligraphic border resembling a laurel wreath.
