DescriptionTall, circular cup with a plain rim, ribbed or reeded sides rounded at bottom, and a C-shaped or ear-shaped handle with a scrolled lower terminal on a shallow foot ring. The cup is decorated in overglaze polychrome enamels and gilt. The front of the bowl, opposite the handle, features an orange parrot framed by leafy boughs with pink flowers and gilt berries. Along the rim interior is a thin red line with pendant half-flowerheads and a variety of polychrome flowers. The rim is gilded and several gilt dots ornament the top of the handle.Pattern Names: Old Worcester Parrot, Pecking Parrot
