DescriptionThis is a hunting image of the horses and dog in the forest tracking the scent of a fox. In this print, the focus is a light-colored dappled horse. There is an attendant holding the reins of this horse, and a young boy plays with some of the hounds in the lower-right foreground. The background is a dense forest. This seems to be a moment of pause or near end of the hunt, which the French title, "Halt de Chasse" captures more aptly.

MarkingsPrinted in ink below the image in the left corner: "J. Wooton Pinseil". Printed in ink below the image in the right corner: "G. Canot Sculpsit.".
