DescriptionThis print is an image of the hunting party at the moment the fox has been caught and killed. A large pack of excited hounds dominates the foreground of the scene. From left to right there is: a young black man holding a hunting horn, a gentleman in a tricorn hat with his face turned to the viewer, and a man holding up the dead fox. On the right side of the print are two men working the hounds and a third man on horseback blowing a hunting horn. In the background is a woodland landscape with tall trees to the left. 1770
