DescriptionOval, molded, four-lobed creamware dish on an oval, four-lobed, pedestal foot. The scalloped rim has a double-ribbed outer border, drops of three pendant bellflowers at the edge of each lobe flanked by acanthus leaves, which extend over the shoulder and into the well, and pierced panels of hearts, pointed ovals, and dots. The center of the well is also pierced with a diamond-shaped panel composed of diamonds, pointed ovals, and dots. The foot has a repeating pattern of scrolling foliage and drops of three pendant bellflowers around its waist. Pale cream body with a clear glaze having a yellow cast.
MarkingsPrinted in black on a rectangular label adhered to the underside of the foot: "Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Blum/Willow Corners Antiques".
