DescriptionOval, molded, eight-sided, handled, creamware basket with four convex and four concave flared sides with festoons of husks or bellflowers in their lower half and pierced with panels of hearts and dots above. The shaped rim has shells, foliage, and scrollwork and the lower edge has a cable or rope border. The interior of the well is plain and the foot is flat on the underside. The two molded scrollwork handles are attached on opposite ends of the rim; one has three piercings, the other only has one at center.

Pale cream body with a clear glaze.
