DescriptionThree narrow fragments of wallpaper pasted to letterhead paper from the Architect's Office, Independence Hall Restoration, T. Mellon Rogers, dated 12 May 1897. Each of the three fragments displays traces of the same pattern - a stippled design with spiraling elements in shades of brown, beige, and gray above a simulated architectural molding in shades of white and gray. The paper also has a yellow-painted section "Color of the Original Wall Plaster."
