DescriptionHorizontal, rectangular print of an east view of Mount Vernon. The mansion is situated in the right atop a grassy hill. In the foreground, three figures are gathered around a dog on the east lawn. To their left, a child facing away from the viewer gestures to a man with outstretched arms standing on the hill. In the distance, a couple points up to the mansion from the bottom of the hill. Trees surround the lawn on the left and boats pass on the Potomac River in the background.
