DescriptionFull-length portrait of George Washington in military dress asleep at a desk with a map and a lit candle on it, while visible outside is an encampment. In a dreamscape above Washington are the personifications of Bounty, Liberty, and Justice astride a globe emblazoned 'America' with thirteen stars above. In each of the two top corners of the image are wreaths of laurel.
