DescriptionFull length portrait of George Washington, set in a landscape. Washington is wearing a military uniform with a single epaulet, a gorget, a sash across his chest, and a sash at his waist. A sword, presumably hung from his left hip, is visible behind his right leg and he is wearing a hat.
