DescriptionRectangular-top, writing or dressing table with single, cockbeaded drawer on four, straight, square legs, chamfered on their interior edges; overhanging, single-board top with thumbnail-molded front and side edges is reinforced with two battens, originally nailed, now screwed to frame; rectangular frame with solid rails mortised and tenoned to legs, front rail chamfered along bottom outside edge; solid drawer front features two post-and-bail brass handles flanking a brass escutcheon at center.
