DescriptionA view of military officers gathered in front of a blue-and-white striped tent receiving orders from their generals at the center of the composition. The Comte de Rochambeau appears at the center in a blue coat, hat, and red sash; George Washington appears to the right in a blue and buff uniform. A fortress appears in the background, and the French and American flags are displayed in front of the tent.
