DescriptionFragment of bobbin fringe in shades of maroon, red, yellow, and brown, with a silk-wrapped bobbin hanging from a short length of woven wool trim and mounted to cardstock. The woven trim features floats of yellow, red, and brown thread over a dark brown ground. A line of twisted wool yarns of red, yellow, and brown connects the bobbin to the header. The spiral-turned, tear-drop shaped wooden bobbin is covered in maroon silk with yellow silk highlights around the neck, and a pom-pom or tassel of yellow and red wool is attached at its base.
