DescriptionSquare-top, single drop-leaf corner table on four, straight, turned, and tapered legs terminating in pad feet on disks; three fixed legs and one fly leg; two-board top; folding leaf meets the top in a rule joint and is secured with two iron butt hinges; overhanging top is screwed to a triangular frame with solid, straight side rails with plain ogee brackets nailed to the four corners of the fixed legs, and a straight, double-railed rear rail, the outer or hinge rail is divided into two sections: the fixed hinge rail is nailed to the inner rail and is attached to the fly leg with a five-finger hinge; side rails and brackets are veneered in mahogany.Published ReferencesAntiques & Fine Art, Holiday 2002.
