DescriptionHorizontal, rectangular view of the east front of Mount Vernon. The image is glued onto a larger sheet of wove paper. A cut-out of the printed words “MOUNT VERNON” is glued just below the image. Cut-outs of printed flowers are also glued above and below the image. The mansion occupies the right of the image, and is framed by a large tree on the left and a smaller tree on the right. In the foreground are visible an adult male, two adult females, and a female child. Four figures are visible under the piazza. Underneath the north Palladian window are three figures. The Potomac River, with a steam vessel is visible in the background. Two cut-out, colored images of flowers are glued on reverse.
