DescriptionThis print is an image of the Battle of Saratoga. In the center is General Benedict Arnold on a rearing horse that appears to be foundering. He is surrounded by American troops who appear to be firing upon the Hessians or charging them with bayonets.On the right of the image can be seen a number of Hessians, recognizable by their distinct military uniform, one of whom aims his fire at General Arnold.
