DescriptionThis mezzotint by Richard Houston after William Hoare is a bust portrait of William Pitt, 1st Earl of Chatham, who served as the British Prime Minister of the Whig party from 1766-1768. He is best known as the political leader of the British during the Seven Years' War, also known as the French and Indian War.
