Jean Boussod, Manzi, Joyant & Co.
Firm of fine art publishers, printers and art dealers, founded in 1897 by Jean Boussod (1860-1907), Michel Manzi (1849-1915) and Maurice Joyant (1864-1930), all of whom had been associated with the firm of Goupil (q.v.): Boussod was the son of Léon Boussod, Goupil's partner. Manzi had been associated since 1882 and Maurice Joyant in the early 1890s. The firm became Manzi-Joyant on Boussod's death in 1907.
Successor company to the art dealers Goupil & Cie. Had deep ties to the Van Gogh family, employing both Vinvent and his brother Theo.
