William Rollinson

BiographyRollinson was born in Dudley, England in 1762. By 1792 he had emigrated to the United States and was working in New York City. He was especially interested in anti-counterfeit measures in engraving money and attempted to create systems to make bills that could not be counterfeited by the means of traditional engraving. Rollinson died in 1842 in New York City.
