Robert Walker was a Scottish cabinetmaker who immigrated to Virginia prior to 1743. He collaborated with his brother, William Walker (c.1705-1750), a builder and architect, to provide furniture to some of the most influential families in Virginia, including the Mercers, Carters, and Washingtons.
