DescriptionTilt-top table with a circular, single-board, dished top on an incised baluster-and-spool-turned shaft on a tripod base featuring three cabriole legs terminating in ridged bulbous snake feet on pads; top connects to the birdcage or box by two projecting pintles set into two shaped cleats screwed to its underside and can be locked in place by a wooden key; birdcage or box with four balusters between two plain square blocks; legs are ogee-shaped on their undersides and blind dovetailed into the pillar which has a single gouge between the legs; no brace; shaped brass catch.Published References
