DescriptionDomed lid with projecting lip and hollow walled stopper; molded hard paste lid decorated in hand painted blue enamels on the upper surface; the outer lip is painted with a blue band applied over which is a design of cresting waves in gilt, above is a band of light blue over which is painted a dark blue zig-zag, following is an intermittent design of a single blue dot between a column of two blue dots terminating in a three petaled flower; the lid is topped with a finial made of a press molded strawberry decorated with gilt, surrounded by three hand-formed applied leaves painted in blue.
