DescriptionPrinted, brown-striped cotton, closed bodice with three straps buttoning across center front, a wide, rounded neckline, and elbow length sleeves that button at the wrist with The bodice has eyelets at center front for a laced closure and is boned at center front and the five back seams. A large tab extends betow the center front waist and the back of bodice is pointed. The block-printed design consists of undulating horizontal lines of red and black and vertical brown stripes printed on a cream cotton ground pattered in weaving with stripes similar to dimity with twill patterning.Published References1.)
