DescriptionBookmark composed of rectangular piece of perforated cardboard embroidered with the initials “L.F.L.” rendered in a design of pink and yellow flowers and green leaves. The initials are worked in tent stitches on 16 holes per inch board. The cardboard is stitched to a pale blue silk ribbon with a border embroidered in white thread. The bookmark was received in a modern gilt wood frame which also contains two labels and a 1936 letter providing provenance information.
