DescriptionOval view of the front of the mansion from the east. In the foreground are three people, a man sitting, a woman with a bonnet standing, and a man standing with a cane. In the background there is a gazebo, and behind this is the Potomac. Sailing on the Potomac are two masted ships, one in the center of the view, and the other near the left edge visible through trees. Around the image is a light grey rectangular frame. Bordering the image are dark grey flowers, and below is a flag and a scroll laying nearly flat.

When looked at through a lens, the image has a number of registration issues, with color having been placed where it should not of been. This shows that each color was printed sperately, one on top of the other.
