DescriptionHorizontal, rectangular print of Mount Vernon’s west front. The mansion is in the center of the image with ladders on its roof and chimneys and the American flag raised on the south end of the roof. The circle is in the foreground with a sundial at its center. The image is framed by trees and shadows in the left foreground. Figures can be seen in left and center doorways and beyond the north colonnade.SignedIn pencil below the image, lower-right: “J. Finnemore”.
