DescriptionHorizontal, rectangular view of the west front of Mount Vernon. In the foreground, two gentlemen are seated on horses. A couple stands to their left and a dog stands to the right. In the right distance there is a three-masted ship on the Potomac River. The view is framed on the left by a large tree and a boulder occupies the right foreground.
