DescriptionFull bust portrait of George Washington, set in a frame which hangs from a wall, with various symbolic elements depicted below. Washington is shown facing right and wearing a black coat and a jabot. Above the portrait is a plaque with the title. Two chains of bell flowers hang from either end of it. Below the portrait is an unfurled scroll with an indecipherable map on it. To the left of the scroll is a liberty pole and cap with a oak brnach curling around it, and to the right, is a sword leaning against the wall and a set of scales.
