DescriptionFull bust portrait of George Washington, facing left, and wearing a black coat, a cravat, a jabot, and a sawtooth edge ribbon tying back his hair. He is set against a stippled black and grey background modeled to look like a cloud. Above is a flying angel, a representation of Fame, holding a trumpet to its lips in one hand and laying a wreath on Washington's head with the other.There is also a title page for the book that the print was published in mounted on the same sheet, with the title of the book, the publisher, and the publishing date.
