DescriptionVertical, rectangular bust-length portrait of General George Washington. Washington is framed within an oval which sits atop a small pedestal. A small swag or festoon hangs above the oval. Washington is depicted in profile with his head turned to the viewer’s left. He wears a uniform with fringed epaulets. His hair is tied behind him with a ribbon in a queue.
